Assistant Managers at Pancheros have completely mastered the operational and leadership skills needed to run a shift, and have advanced to learn what it takes to run a thriving business. While still giving a guiding hand to the team throughout a shift and stepping in to help with kitchen tasks as needed, your focus will broaden as you assist in the operation of the entire restaurant. Working as a partner to the Restaurant Manager, you’ll learn the art of ordering just the right amount of fresh food and supplies to minimize waste and never run out; ensuring that all safe handling and cleaning procedures are understood as a priority and executed by the team; engaging with the guests beyond just their ordering to get to know them personally; working on local marketing tactics to connect your restaurant with the surrounding community; plus everything else it takes to run the restaurant successfully.
